About me

Hi! I'm Joel I am a 22 year old guy from the tiny island sunny island Singapore. I have been fishing for almost half my life which about 10 years and going strong .. I don't own the best tackle or catch the biggest fish but I still am the happiest when I fish.


My story

Joel used to be a fat boy when he was young. He also loved to stay at his grandma place on the weekends. Being such lovely grandparents they would take me out to the reservoirs in hope that I get some exercise while at it. On one of this faithful trip I saw someone fishing... I said, I wanna learn to FISH. I started off with a rod and reel bought from a cash converter and had no luck catching much fish at the start. But over years of fishing I have learnt valuable skills and knowledge to catch a fish. I would want to share all that I have learnt so we can all learn and share with each other hopefully benefiting all.

Why I started this blog 

Through this blog I would like to share my love for this sport through tips that I hope you would find interesting and would also be traveling to new fishing spots for everyone to try out. I would be covering tips from the most basic to advance for anglers of all levels.
